Research
The Health Services Research Section addresses health policies and the organisational aspects of the health system, as well as methodological research. It addresses cause and effect in the organisation and functioning of the health system. Within the field of health services research, the Section addresses four topics:1. the factors that affect health system structure, changes and management,
2. the effects of a health system’s structural features,
3. the effects of specific interventions and programmes, and evaluation research,
4. theories and methods that concern qualitative research interviews, comparative methodology and health status measurements.
The Section conducts some of its research projects in collaboration with other research facilities, in not only Denmark but the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Finland, France, Spain, Canada, Norway, the United States, Germany, Austria, Japan and Sweden.
