My research is mainly epidemiological and focuses on understanding how social ineuqalities over the life course effect different health outcomes in later age.
Pre and post natal social adversity and inflammatory profiles and type two diabetes in later life
Maternal infections and inflammatory profiles among offspring in later life
Income drops over adult life and early signs of aging
I have participated in a number of courses as a lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Health Sciences, including Social Epidemiology, Psycho-Physiological Responses, Disease and Social Stressors, and Stress and Health. I am course leader for Life course influences on health and aging and the International Alliance of Research Universities summer school Interdisiplinary Aspects of Healthy Aging.
