Primary fields of research
I am affiliated with the Copenhagen Lifecourse Epidemiology in Aging and Rehabilitation (CLEAR) group and the Psychosocial Epidemiology group at Section of Social Medicine. Additionally, I am participating in the Nordforsk project Social Inequality in Ageing (SIA) which is a collaborative project between the Nordic countries.
My primary interest is within life course epidemiology with a focus on social inequality across the lifespan in relation to later-life physical activity and capability. Currently, I work primarily with data from the Copenhagen Aging and Midlife Biobank (CAMB) linked to high temporal resolution data from the National Danish registers on social circumstances.
I have previously conducted research within the fields of reproductive and prenatal epidemiology.
I am a PhD representative in the PhD Study Board at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences (University of Copenhagen), the Steering Group for the Research Program in Epidemiology and Public Health (University of Copenhagen), the PhD-KUFIR (University of Copenhagen’s Research and Innovation Council) and KUPE (University of Copenhagen's PhD Erfa Group).
