Canadian-qualified preventive dentist with 16 years of composite global experience in research, medical communications, teaching, management, and clinical practice (in Denmark, Canada, Singapore, India, UK, and Saudi Arabia)

- Doctoral (PhD) Fellow at the Departments of Dentistry and Public Health, University of Copenhagen, Denmark

- Pan-European Regional Councilor for the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) - Global Oral Health Research Network

- Editor (Journal of Oral Health Research) and Reviewer (International Dental Journal, the official journal of the World Dental Federation [FDI])


Previously worked as an Assistant Professor (Dept. of Dentistry, Jazan University, Saudi Arabia), Therapeutic Area Lead (Novartis Pharma), Manager of Business Development (Cactus Communications), and Scientific Expert/Manager of medical communications teams (UBM Medica Singapore, Indegene/Medsn, Editage, EBM Zone). Briefly undertook clinical practice.

Research and scientific communication background includes:
- Conducting multinational randomized trials, repeated cross-sectional studies, health economic evaluations, decision analytic modeling studies, and qualitative research projects
- Providing scientific and communications leadership to epidemiological, clinical, translational, and health economic research projects in support of the development, registration, and marketing of pharmaceutical products and mobile health apps
- Supervising/mentoring academic researchers and professional medical writers. Establishing and developing medical writing services in several organizations
- Performing editorial quality control, project management, vendor and key opinion leader management
