Primary fields of research
I have a PhD in Public Health Science and Epidemiology from University of Copenhagen. I am employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the Section for Health Services Research, Department of Public Health. My primary research area concerns community-based health promotion interventions. Within this field, I have previously worked with health promotion in a municipal context and in social housing areas.
In my PhD project "We Feel Like One Big Village: A Mixed Methods Study on Social Relations and Neighborhood Environment Among Social Housing Residents in Denmark", I explored through quantitative and qualitative methods, how urban regeneration, including demolition, relocation and renovation, influences social relations and neighborhood environment perceptions among middle-aged and older social housing residents.
