"It's a bit unmanly in a way": Men and Infertility in Denmark

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingBook chapterResearch

The chapter investigates how male infertility affects notions of masculinity and fatherhood in a Danish context. It addresses these questions through an examination of men's thoughts, experiences and feelings in relations to their wished-for fatherhood, their infertility and childlessness, and assisted reproductive technologies in Denmark. The chapter builds on an ethnographic fieldwork in Denmark in the late nineties.
