Primary experience in bacterial and viral pathogens, microbiology and molecular biology methods.

Current project aims to present an understanding of disease epidemics from historical and contemporary perspectives. This project analyses and reviews four distinct aspects of infectious disease epidemics: (1) phylogenetics, (2) spillover events and (3) intervention practices such as quarantine and vaccination (4) ecological and sociological contributors to disease transmission.
