I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Science of Public Health from the University of Copenhagen. Currently, I am Ph.D. student at the Section of Social Medicine, Department of Public Health, where I am investigating whether psychosomatic stress increases the risk of dementia in later life. My main research interests are within stress, mental health and dementia.

Previously, I have performed a qualitative bachelor project about child neglect of children with mentally traumatized parents, where my aim was to investigate secondary traumatization in children and how this could be prevented. In my master's thesis, I applied statistical methods to investigate whether post-traumatic stress (PTSD) symptoms differed dependent on socioeconomic background when being exposed to workplace bullying.
