Primary fields of research
I have a background in Public Health Science from University of Copenhagen. My primary research concerns how large-scale structural changes impact health, wellbeing and social relations in disadvantaged housing areas. Within this field, I have previously studied the impact of housing conditions on sense of belonging and wellbeing among citizens of Odense Municipality.
In my PhD project, "A multi-methods study exploring the impact of changing housing conditions on health, wellbeing and social relations", I will examine, how area renewal including demolition, rehousing and renovation affect health, wellbeing and social relations among middle-aged and older residents through quantitative and qualitative methods.
At the Section of Social Medicine, I am affiliated with the research groups Copenhagen Life Course Epidemiology in Aging and Rehabilitation (CLEAR).
