Primary fields of research

Måns Dunfjäll conducts research on corporate law, capital markets law and sustainable development.

Måns PhD research project intersects the fields of corporate law, sustainability, EU law and accounting law, dealing with the implementation of the EU:s new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and it's effects on listed corporations in the Nordic countries. In particular, Måns’ project includes exploring how corporations are navigating the transition from previous soft-law reporting requirements to new hard-law requirements under the CSRD, as well as measures that may be taken by both the legislator and affected corporations to ensure satisfactory compliance with the CSRD. An overarching goal of the project is to formulate and identify best practices for sustainability reporting under the CSRD. Måns’ supervisor for the project is Associate Professor Lone Wandahl Mouyal.

Måns has significant knowledge and experience in the field of commercial law, owing to his previous experience as lecturer in law at Uppsala University, Sweden, where he taught corporate law, tax law and accounting law.
