I have a background in Public Health Science and Demography. My primary research concerns how health changes and develops during the life course and how it does so differently for different people. Within this field, I have previously studied differential effects of colorectal cancer screening as well as the exposure to and consequences of polypharmacy among older adults with different sociodemographic characteristics.
In my PhD project, “Uncovering health disparities: An in-depth exploration of social inequality patterns in morbidity, life after morbidity onset and length of life”, I examine health trajectories while using the national Danish registers that are rich on information on various aspects of health.
