I do research in how social and psychosocial factors influnce health and use of health care. My special interest is in the interplay between social factors and health in a life course perspective

I participated in an interdisciplinary investigation of the life with statins where I focused on reasons for starting and stopping statin treatment using register data and data from a survey of 3050 Danes aged 45.65. A particular interest was the influence of information from mass media and information seeking influence choice of treatment
