Ph.D. student investigating a current implementation of a digital patient reported outcome (PRO) concept for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in outpatient care. Focus is on digital health literacy and on how the digital intervention affect and is affected by the patient-clinician relationship, quality of life of patients, health literacy, and social and emotional factors. The project aim to understand the worries that patients and clinicians can have with regard to use of the digital PRO intervention and if patients can be screened for e-health readiness in order to improve the use of a digital PRO intervention.
The study is a joint project between Regional Hospital Silkeborg, Denmark, The Danish Board of Health Data, University of Copenhagen, Deakin University, and Swinburne University of Technology.
