PhD Student, PhD fellow

I am primarily interested in the health consequences of various psychosocial exposures such as bullying and violence at work. I have been previously investigating the relationship between workplace bullying and depressive symptoms, and have been involved in projects studying role stressors and poor sleep, vital exhaustion and dementia, and workplace bullying and turnover.

My current research focuses mostly on workplace social capital: in my PhD project I am specifically focusing on long-term sickness absence and the potential protective effect of workplace social capital when being exposed to workplace violence or heavy physical workload.

The title of my PhD project is “Workplace as a resource: the health effects of increasing workplace resources and decreasing psychological strain at workplaces”.
