Mapping the Future of Infectious Disease Modelling
On Monday, August 31, 2026, the SUND Collaborates funded research project, SexMatters will host the first Mini Symposium bringing together researchers to discuss where the field is heading, focusing on:
- new technologies and methods
- collaboration across disciplines
- better use of modelling in real-world decisions

exploring how infectious disease modelling will evolve and be used in the future.
By bringing together researchers from different disciplines, we aim to create new connections, identify shared challenges, and develop collaborative approaches that can shape the next generation of infectious disease models

Aug 5, 2026 - Abstract submission for a short talk closes (abstracts received after this deadline will not be taken into consideration). Selected speakers will be contacted at the latest by Aug 19, 2026
