Fire nye arter af slægten Boehmeria (Urticaceae) er nybeskrevet og navngivet: Boehmeria listeri Friis & Wilmot-Dear og B. manipurensis Friis & Wilmot-Dear, begge fra dem østlige del af Himalaya, B. leptostachya Friis & Wilmot-Dear fra Yunan i Kina, Thailan of den nordlige del af Sumatra, og B. subintegra Friis & Wilmot-Dear fra Papua Ny Guinea.
