Primary fields of research

My philosophical research interests are within the science areas medical technologies, communication and diagnostication, and radiology, AI, and interpretation, with emphasis on embodied cognitio, eactivism, hermeneutics and visual perception.

Teaching

I am course manager of theory of science and ethics for dentists (bachelor), cand.scient.san. (master), and molecular biomedicine (bachelor). I supervise bachelor, master and PhD students on topics in areas like philosophy of science, epistemology, philosophy of technology, STS, visual perception, philosophy of time, subjectivity and objectivity, interpretation/hermeneutics in medical practice.

Current research

Currently I am researching the problem of perception- and cognition (the interpretative nature of human cognition) in radiological diagnostization, with emphasis on embodied cognition and enactivism. I am about to deliver my second doctorate on the subject.
