My principal area of interest and my recent research, has been that of, estimating and forecasting the effect environmental factors have upon health. Using pathway analysis with large spatio-temporal, population, and genetic data sets, I’ve analyzed the interactions between the environment, and genetics and epigenetics. I have been involved in several cohort studies of children, and the elderly in Korea, along with the Danish nurse cohort. My professional goal is to contribute my expertise to improve global health, by examining the effect air pollution, noise, climate, and endocrine disrupting chemicals have on the health of individuals.
