I have a Ph.D., Master's and Bachelor's degree in Public Health Science from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. My primary research interests are stress, migraine, working environment, and dementia.
In my Ph.D. project, I investigated whether self-reported stress, stress diagnoses and migraine in midlife were risk factors for dementia in later life based on epidemiological methods. My Master's thesis was a quantitative study in which I investigated whether post-traumatic stress symptoms (PTSD) were reported differently depending on one's socioeconomic background when being bullied at work. Previously, I did a qualitative Bachelor's project on neglect in children with mentally traumatized parents, where my aims were to investigate secondary traumatization in children, and how this could be prevented.
