Become a global health mentee
Why should I become a global health mentee?
Are you interested in learning more about your global health career possibilities in Denmark and abroad? Do you want to identify, describe and present your competencies and professional skills? Do you have big plans or major insecurities relating to your future global health career?
With a mentor, you will learn more about the global health job market and work culture. Most importantly, you will get valuable input and sparring on your competencies and how to present them to potential employers.
In the programme, you will get:
- Valuable input for your competencies and qualifications
- First-hand knowledge about a business, sector or job function
- Advice and sparring on your career dreams and considerations
- Knowledge about the Danish and international global health job market and corporate culture
Minimum four meetings should be planned by the mentee in the mentoring period.
NB: The Global Health Mentor Programme is not a recruitment channel and you cannot expect to get a job in your mentor’s organisation as part of the mentoring process. A mentor does not offer you a job or grade your academic skills – it’s someone who is there to help you.
