New Publications: ‘Young People’s Everyday Climate Crisis Activism’
The Y-ENGAGE project was conceived in dialogue with some editorial work done by members of the Y-ENGAGE project team. This work led to three publications:
- A special issue in Children’s Geographies titled Young People’s Everyday Climate Crisis Activism , edited by Morten Skovdal.
- The introduction to the special issue titled Young people’s everyday climate crisis activism: new terrains for research, analysis and action, co-authored by Morten Skovdal and Matthew C Benwell.
- An article titled ‘Small steps and small wins’ in young people’s everyday climate crisis activism, lead authored by 16-year old Daniel Emdal Navne with support from Morten Skovdal.
Y-ENGAGE will respond to the scientific gaps and openings identified by this collection of papers, and draw on experiences from this work to involve young people more directly in academic debates.
