Y-ENGAGE Team Initiates Data Analysis at In-Person Meeting in Dar es Salaam
The Y-ENGAGE team, which typically meets online to discuss project progress and workshop various issues, held a productive in-person meeting at the end of April 2024 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This event was also attended by Emmanual Raju and Morten Skovdal from the University of Copenhagen.
During the meeting, the PhD students presented the initial findings from their first phase of fieldwork. These presentations were crucial in helping the students refine the analytical focus of their PhD studies and scientific articles. Additionally, the discussions facilitated planning for the second phase of fieldwork, ensuring that the research further explores and elaborates on initial findings.
The team also reviewed the overall progress of the project and laid out plans for upcoming activities. The in-person meeting not only strengthened collaboration within the team but also set the stage for future successes in our shared goal of involving children and young people in the climate response in Tanzania.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to advance our research and engagement efforts.
