ASM Research meeting, Impacts of transitioning to clean household energy

Dear colleagues,

 We are pleased to invite you to a special talk by visiting Professor Sam Harper, from McGill University in Montreal.

Professor Harper's research focuses on measuring and monitoring social inequalities in health as well as evaluating the effects of social and economic policies using randomized and observational study designs. He has done applied collaborative work on a range of health policy topics, including injury prevention, substance use, reproductive health services and clinical interventions, as well as public policies in the areas of early childhood education, daycare, and parental leave. He will present an overview of some past work as well as a more in-depth discussion of work evaluating recent environmental reforms in peri-urban China.
