Co-creation finalized in Dar es Salaam: The PartoMa Pocket Guide for Safe and Respectful Childbirth Care 2022

Since February 2021, we have been conducting a mixed methods situational analysis at five high-volume maternity units in Dar es Salaam, as well as repeated interviews, focus group discussions and workshops with health providers from the sites, women who have given birth, health managers and policy makers in the city. This has led to a 24 pages pocket booklet of integrated decision support for childbirth care, including routine care and management of complications. Implementation will start this January 2022.
