Kick-off research meeting in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam

This week, 15 researchers from Tanzania, Denmark and the Netherlands met for initial in-depth planning of our new Danida-funded PartoMa project. While we are still applying for additional funding, we particularly focused on the upcoming implementation study in Dar es Salaam.
In one of Africa’s fastest growing urban centres, we aim at further context-tailoring the PartoMa intervention for and implementing it at five mega maternity units. The maternity units assist a total of approximately 65,000 births yearly.
